She was born on January 17, 1959, in the United States, in California, in a musical Jewish family. Both Susanna and her mother were passionate about music from a young age, especially the work of The Beatles. Soon, Susanna and her two friends, Vicki Peterson and Debbie Peterson, formed the musical group - The Bangles, which became one of Hoffs' main passions.
